Our 2022 Fundraising Campaign has begun, but we have also finished up our 2021 Fundraiser! Our final amount donated during the 2021 campaign is $157,224.31!
Much of the funds donated are already hard at work executing the projects outlined in our goals continuing the hard work to preserve and restore the East Broad Top. Here is a quick summary:
EBT Robertsdale Station Roof Replacement – COMPLETED
The new roof is on and it looks great! No more patching and future work on the Robertsdale Station can now move forward without fear of roof leaks.
Rockhill Storehouse – IN PROGRESS
Building has been professionally stabilized, concrete poured, volunteer labor to complete is in progress.
EBT Archives Project – IN PROGRESS
Professional archivist has been hired and has made a great start to assessing the collections and planning its future.
EBT Museum Security System – PREPARING TO BEGIN
The contracting process for this work is in progress.
Rockhill Coal Dock Phase 2 – PREPARING TO BEGIN/COMBINED WITH 2022 PROJECT
Engineering on this project has begun, however the scope of this project has been increased tin include the retaining wall reconstruction which is part of the 2022 Fundraising Campaign.
