The museum is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will announce once it reopens.
The Friends of the East Broad Top Museum presents the history of the East Broad Top Railroad & Coal Company, the industries it served in the surrounding area and the culture of the railroad, its employees and customers. The museum’s current exhibits are located in the historic EBT Robertsdale Station. We plan to soon complete brand new upgraded exhibits located in the adjacent Coal Company Post Office building.
The FEBT has an active acquisition program for our museum and archives. We are constantly searching for and acquiring artifacts related to the railroad and its business, resulting in a collection that is constantly growing in both quantity and quality of presentation.
The museum is open to the public on the first and third weekend of each month May through September. Hours on those weekends are Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM and on Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM. Special fall open house hours will apply on during the annual FEBT Fall Reunion.
