The FEBT next Rockhill Restoration Work Session is coming up November 6-7. Saturday work hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm. Sunday work hours will be from 9 am to 4 pm.

To reserve a seat for breakfast, for a donation, served at 8am at the Iron Rail B&B contact David at trolley@innernet.net before Thursday. Seats must be reserved ahead of time. Other local restaurants are available for lunch and dinner.

Projects we will be working on:
COMBINE 14
Flooring, trim, and windows and caulking can be installed.
Tools to bring: tape measure, pencil, hearing protection, eye protection. Up to 6 volunteers can work on the Combine.
CARPENTER SHOP
We will be building the new lean-to shed. Bring with you cordless tools, tape measure, marking device, gloves, hard hat if you have one. There are extra hard hats in the Paint Shop. Up to 6 people can work on the Carpenter shop.
STORE HOUSE
The concrete floor in the store house is done. The shelves and bins can be moved back and the building closed in for winter. Up to 6 volunteers.
WINDOWS
Some sashes need a fresh coat of white paint. New sashes need glass installed. Always plenty of work to be done. Bring old clothes with you, and gloves. Paint and supplies provided. Eight people can work on windows.
TRACK WORK
Help with tightening/replacing track joint bolts in Rockhill yard. Saturday only. Bring hard hat, and gloves with you. Hard hats are available in the Paint Shop if you need one.
BOX CAR
Help restore one of EBT’s steel boxcars. This involves cutting out rusted steel, welding in new steel, and maybe some riveting. Bring gloves, eye protection, ear protection, tape measure.
Details
You must be 18 and a member of the FEBT ( or join at the work site.) These are insurance requirements. We are guests of the railroad and need to behave accordingly.
