Due to the Covid 19 virus, FEBT and the East Broad Top Foundation would like all volunteers to provide their own PPE (face masks, gloves, sanitizer). FEBT will have some supplies at the Paint shop for those that need them.
Projects we will be working on:
BRUSH CREW
We are looking for up to 10 people to help with brush clearing of the main line at the number 5 tipple location. I don’t think we need anymore chain saw operators but if you want to use them, you must have leg chaps (I think we only have 2-3 extra pair), hard hat and steel toed boots and be experienced work with a chain saw and bring extra chains. There are a lot of hazards when cutting around rail. You are more than welcome to bring hand tools, like pruning shears. We mostly will need help moving the cut debris. One more thing to mentions is depending on where they park, it could be a good walk. If they park back in the old parking lot of the park, its closer but I would be concerned of nails in tires.
Please meet at Rockhill in the morning to sigh in and get directions if you need them.

You must be 18 and a member of the FEBT ( or join at the work site.) These are insurance requirements. We are guests of the railroad and need to behave accordingly.
