FEBT Rockhill work session February 8, 9

The next Rockhill work session of the 2020 season will take place Saturday and  Sunday, February 8, 9.

Saturday work hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm.   Sunday work hours will be from 9 am to 4 pm.

MEALS

Breakfast is once again being served at the Iron Rail Bed & Breakfast for a donation.  Served at 8:00 AM both days.  To reserve your seat, contact David at   trolley @ innernet.net   before Thursday.  Local restaurants are available for lunch and dinner.

ROCKHILL RATS

The Rats will continue working to finish several projects from years past and check them off the list.  Randy Lehrian will lead this project.

COMBINE  14

The combine crew will continue stripping internal and external paint.  Installing clerestory windows will continue if enough help is present.  Window installation on the East side of the car is ready to begin.  Charlie Wootton will lead this project.

STEEL CREW

 Work will continue on the boxcar.  Lumber for the boxcar floor has arrived and installation can continue.  Steel work on the South end of the car will continue.  Steve Jacobs will lead this project.

You must be 18 and a member of the FEBT ( or join the FEBT at the work site.)  These are insurance requirements.  We are guests of the railroad and need to behave accordingly.
Last-minute walk-ons are always welcome at our sessions, but if possible, drop me an email in advance to let me know that you are coming.  It helps with the planning.
