The FEBT next Rockhill Restoration Work Session is coming up April 22-23. Work hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 4 pm Sunday.

Projects we will be working on:
COMBINE 14
14 If temperatures allow, paint the second half of the car siding, strip and repair the baggage doors, and the interior needs final prep for paint. Tools to bring: tape measure, pencil, hearing protection, eye protection. Up to 6 volunteers can work on the Combine.
STORE HOUSE
The shelves and bins are ready for the return of the hardware that is in storage. Up to 6 volunteers.
STORE HOUSE GUTTERS
Install new gutters on the Store House. Must be comfortable with working on ladders. Bring with you cordless tools, tape measure, marking device, gloves, hard hat if you have one. There are extra hard hats in the Paint Shop. Up to 2 people.
TRACK WORK
Continue with work on switches in yard and install ties on track 4 on Saturday only. Bring hard hat, gloves, hearing protection, and eye protection. Up to 12 volunteers.
WINDOWS
Repair and paint old window sash and install. Up to 6 volunteers.
BOXCAR
Remove old rusted steel and replace with new. Up to 2 volunteers.
ROW CLEANUP
Walk the tracks between Orbisonia station and Colgate Grove and clean up the trash that finds its way there.
Details
You must be 18 and a member of the FEBT ( or join at the work site.) These are insurance requirements. We are guests of the railroad and need to behave accordingly.
