The FEBT January Rockhill Restoration Work Session is coming up January 8-10. Friday and Saturday work hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm. Sunday work hours will be from 9 am to 4 pm.

Due to the Covid 19 virus, FEBT and the East Broad Top Foundation would like all volunteers to provide their own PPE (face masks, gloves, sanitizer). FEBT will have some supplies at the Paint shop for those that need them.
Projects we will be working on:
COMBINE 14
Interior wood work and window installation will continue. Tools to bring: tape measure, pencil, hearing protection, eye protection. Up to 6 volunteers can work on the Combine.
CARPENTER SHOP
We need to get the building cleaned out so Woodford Bros. can begin work to raise the building later this month. Bring with you gloves, steel toed shoes, hard hat if you have one. There are extra hard hats in the Paint Shop. Up to 12 people can work on the Carpenter shop.
ROOF REPAIRS
The canyon between the Locomotive shop and the Car shop needs some repairs and a collection gutter and downspouts installed. The shed south of the Freight Office needs some roof repairs Tools to bring: cordless drill/driver, circular saw, hammer, nail apron, nail pullers, tin snips, good shoes for walking on roofs, tape measure. Six people can work on roof repairs.
TRACK GANG
Track work will continue in the yard and mainline. Bring hat, gloves, hearing protection, eye protection, steel toed shoes, water bottle. Ten people can work on track.
BUILDINGS DOCUMENTATION
The Store house behind the Stone house and the connector between them will need to be measured and photographed. At a future time the connector building will need to be removed so structural work can be done to the Store house. The connector building will them be rebuilt using this documentation.
Details
You must be 18 and a member of the FEBT ( or join at the work site.) These are insurance requirements. We are guests of the railroad and need to behave accordingly.
