Event

EBTF will be running Christmas trains the weekends of December 4, 5, and December 11, 12. Friday trains will depart Orbisonia Station at 4 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM. Saturday trains will depart Orbisonia Station at 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM. Trains will consist of two covered flats, two converted boxcars, and both cabooses.

Operations will be similar to the 60th Anniversary event. Riders will unload at RTY, have a trolley ride, cookies and hot chocolate, view model trains in the Freight House, and visit Santa on the platform of the #20 car on Track #6 near Meadow Street.

EBTF is looking for eight car hosts and general helpers each day. Saturdays have been split into two signups, early and late. Car hosts please plan to be ready to go one hour before train time. There is no dress code, but do not dress as if attending a work session, and dress according to the weather. All evening car hosts should have with them a working flashlight. All volunteers will be required to wear a face mask during the event.

Ground Rules

You must be 18 and a member of the FEBT ( or join at the work site.) These are insurance requirements. We are guests of the railroad and need to behave accordingly.
